§ Mr. Lomasasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if, at the negotiations concerning a Common Fund, which are due to be held in Geneva, he will urge that the fund should be created as soon as possible, and not after all commodity agreements are negotiated;
(2) if, at the negotiations concerning a Common Fund, which are due to be held in Geneva, he will urge that the Fund 252W Guarantees Act 1975 which have been rejected because of breaches of the Government's guidelines on pay settlements.
§ Mr. Meacher:Two applications for guarantees under Section 2 of the Export Guarantees Act 1975 have been refused because of a failure to comply with the Government's guidelines on pay settlements. Both concern James Mackie & Sons Limited of Belfast.
