§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many British citizens are being held in Nigeria on currency exchange charges; and if they are receiving assistance from his Department.
§ Mr. Rowlands:Two British citizens are at present held in Nigeria on exchange control charges. Representations on behalf of both detainees have been made to the Nigerian authorities and we shall continue to do all we properly can to assist them.
