§ Mr. Alfred MorrisThe Supplementary Benefits Commission has always been prepared to pay supplementary benefit to young people continuing their full-time education beyond the sixteenth birthday who are so handicapped, physically or mentally, as to be unlikely to be able to work. This is stated in paragraph 6 of the Supplementary Benefits Handbook, which is intended for those advising the parents of such children, including the staffs of special schools.
