§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will approve PIRA as an official testing station for package performance testing and so enable the United Kingdom to conform to United Nations performance standards for testing, marking and certifying packages.
§ Mr. Horam :The scheme for the testing of packagings used for dangerous goods is at the last stages of consultation, and I hope that approval of PIRA for this purpose will be given shortly.
