§ Mr. Matherasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the murder of a British subject, Mrs. Maria Lallakouna Taenas, at Rizokarpasso in the Turkish sector of Cyprus, near Famagusta on 9th October 1977.
§ Mr. Judd :I was very sorry to hear reports that Mrs. Taina has been killed in Cyprus. We have sought urgent confirmation of her death and the circumstances in which it occurred from the Turkish Cypriot authorities.
