622WAs a contribution to the illumination of buildings along the river for the Silver Jubilee, the Authorities of both Houses have agreed that the Terrace Frontage of the Palace of Westminster should be illuminated during the Whitsun Recess and at weekends thereafter until the end of the Summer Recess. Exceptionally, on Thursday 9th June the Terrace lights will not be switched on until the river pageant and firework display are over, at about 10.45 p.m.
