§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what representations he has received from trade unions in the baking industry 635W regarding the problem of bread production and distribution being discussed within the National Economic Development Council.
§ Mr. MaclennanMy right hon. Friend has received various proposals from trade unions concerned with the production and distribution of bread. Earlier this year the Scottish Union of Bakers and Allied Workers suggested that some form of board or committee be set up through the services of the Economic Development Committee to look into the problems of the baking industry.
