§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list the financial assistance provided through his Department in (a) the Basildon District Council area and (b) the Essex County Council area, for the services for which he has responsibility, in the financial years 1975–76 and 1976–77.
§ Mr. BennExpenditure by my Department in the South-East Region as a whole is assessed at £109 million in 1975–76. Expenditure for 1976–77 is not yet available. I regret that figures for particular areas within the region could not be identified without disproportionate expense.
