Bus and Rail Fares

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what has been the average increase in (a) motor running costs (b) bus fares and (c) rail fares since February 1974.

Following is the latest information available:

1. (a) 80 per cent.
2. (b) 100 per cent
3. (c) 115 per cent.^*
