Friend the Undersecretary of State for Defence for the Army said on 19th April, when he undertook, in response to representations from all parts of the House, to conduct an urgent review of the problems of pay and conditions for the Services in Northern Ireland. This work is well advanced, and I will make a statement as soon as possible.
