§ Mr. Goodhartasked the Secretary of State for Defence when he expects to receive the report of the committee considering the problem of alleviating financial hardship to military personnel resulting from their postings to Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. Robert C. BrownThe report I have called for will examine whether there are areas of special financial hardship for Service men and their families in Northern Ireland, and, if so, in what way they can best be alleviated. This is being dealt with as a matter of urgency, and I would expect to receive the full report shortly.
