§ Mr. CryerIn the Mexborough travel-to-work area regional selective assistance has been offered in the past 12 months for four projects expected to create some 190 jobs. In the same period redundancy notifications involving 420 jobs in the area were received by the Department of Employment. Prospects for employment in Mexborough will be fully taken into account when the next advance factory programme is planned.
