§ Mr. Barry JonesTo assist us in selecting a preferred line for the Llanwrst bypass we intend to hold a public participation exercise, including a public exhibition of alternative routes, towards the end of the year. Detailed arrangements will be advertised in the area beforehand. It is still too early to forecast when a new line for the bypass could be fixed, but selection of a preferred route will enable the Welsh Office to dispense with the need to protect the route fixed in 1953 from development.
