§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations have been made by the Government of Fiji to Her Majesty's Government about the future of Ocean Island and the Banaban people.

§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what report he has received from the special envoy appointed to discuss with appropriate Governments in the South Pacific the question of a settlement with the Banaban people; and if he will give an assurance that the contents of the report will be disclosed to the House.
§ Mr. LuardI explained in answer to Questions on 2nd February that Mr. Posnett would report in confidence to my right hon. and noble Friend. He has now done so, and consideration is being given to whether it would be useful to make the contents of the report available to the House.
