§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what grants his Department proposes to make to the activities of the Disabled Living Foundation in the current financial year.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisA grant of £93,000 is being made. This will cover the greater part of the costs of the Foundation's Aids Centre and Information Service for the Disabled. The Foundation has many other valuable projects in hand to help disabled people which must rely mainly on voluntary sources of finance. I take this opportunity to pay warm tribute to the very valuable work of this charitable foundation in helping disabled people to live full and active lives.
