§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what funds were made available by his Department to the Scottish Association of Citizens' Advice Bureaux in 1975 and 1976; and what funds he expects to make available for 1977.
§ Mr. MillanIn the financial years 1975–76 and 1976–77 grants of £10,000 and £18,600 respectively were offered by my Department to enable the association to develop the housing advice work of citizens advice bureaux. A grant of £18,600 is expected to be made in 1977–78. The main financial assistance to the citizens advice bureaux network in Great Britain is given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection to the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, and the Scottish association also benefits from these grants.
