Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what was the total cost to public funds of supplying, maintaining and running the Invacar invalid tricycle in each of the last five years for which figures are available;

(2) what is his estimate of the cost to public funds of the provision and maintenance of one Invacar invalid carriage in each of the last five years.
