§ Mrs. Bainasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in the Official Report the level of subsidies awarded to each company in the Scottish Bus Group for each of the last five years, indicating the level of take-up in each case.
§ Mr. McElhoneFinancial support for bus services is provided by the regional councils and payments to individual companies are a matter for the Scottish Transport Group. The total of revenue grants paid by all local authorities to the group in each of the last five years is shown in the group's report and accounts for 1976 which were laid before Parliament on 4th May 1977.
