§ Mr. DeakinsI am aware that NHS chiropody services are inadequate in some areas. The Department has recently issued a circular to health authorities suggesting a number of measures which they should consider for improving chiropody services within present resource constraints and in the context of the priority accorded to the service in the consultative document "Priorities for Health and Personal Social Services in England".
