§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether the price increases announced by Chrysler and British Leyland for their cars were subject to the approval of the Price Commission.
§ Mr. John FraserChrysler and British Leyland are among the enterprises which have to notify the Price Commission in advance of their intended price increases. The Commission does not normally approve price increases notified to it but rejects or modifies them if they do not comply with the provisions of the Price Code.
