§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Minister of Overseas Development what response will be made by Her Majesty's Government to the recommendations of a UN mission that a programme of assistanace be given to Lesotho to overcome economic difficulties rising from South Africa's closure of border posts between Lesotho and the Transkei region.
§ Mrs. HartWe have only recently received the report, which recommends a substantial investment programme of development in Lesotho. We are studying the recommendations with a view to determining what response we may be able to make.
