Mr. Nicholas Edwards

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether, in the light of the Report of the Steering Committee on Resource Allocations in Wales, he will now make the necessary resources available to the Dyfed Area Health Authority to enable it to retain the county hospital at Haverfordwest.

Mr. Barry Jones

I shall be meeting a deputation from the authority on 19th May to hear its representations for additional resources for this purpose. The

capacity, site and dates at which they came, or are planned to come, into commission.

The following reactors have been, or are being, installed at nuclear power stations operated by the CEGB, and SSEB which is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland:

enhanced allocation made to Dyfed AHA for 1977–78 already gives effect to the recommendations in the report.
