HC Deb 03 May 1977 vol 931 cc152-3W
8. Mr. Dykes

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what training service agency offices he has visited in the Greater London Area since 1st January 1977.

Mr. Golding

My right hon. Friend has not recently visited any offices of the Training Services Agency in the Greater London area, although he has, of course, had a number of meetings on matters relating to the work of the Training Services Agency during this period. I have recently visited a number of training establishments. In the London area I visited Southwark College on 23rd March and Brixton College of Further Education on 30th March, both of which run courses under the training opportunities scheme.

Mr. Loyden

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how much has been spent by the TSA on (a) training allowances, and (b) administration of courses and allowances in each of the years 1974, 1975 and 1976 in each of the following areas: Merseyside, Liverpool, Knowsley and Skelmersdale.

Mr. Golding

I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that financial information is not available in the form requested for particular districts.
