§ Mr. Kenneth Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will ask all sector working parties of the National Economic Development Organisation to publish their reports, subject to the deletion of any commercial information which might be of value to overseas competitors.
§ Mr. CryerNo. The sector working parties are aware of the need to publish appropriate information about their work. The reports submitted at the end of last year were interim documents which were not necessarily intended for publication. The sector working parties were given assurances that their work90W would not be made public without their approval, and hence the decision whether to publish or not rests with them.
