HC Deb 03 May 1977 vol 931 c118W
Mr. McCrindle

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he has any plans to meet the Chairman of the British Insurance Association to discuss the present operation of the Insurance Companies Act 1974.

Mr. Clinton Davis

No. There are close relations between the British Insurance Association and my Department, both at ministerial and official level, and I shall always be ready to meet the chairman of the association to discuss matters of mutual concern. I am not aware of any particular problems arising from, or of any wish on the part of the chairman of the association to discuss, the present operation of the Insurance Companies Act 1974.
