§ Mr. Michael Marshallasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many construction contractors, resident in West Sussex, have applied for a 714 certificate; and of these how many have been granted a certificate.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonOn 14th April, the date of the last count, 4,315 applications had been received by inspectors of taxes in West Sussex. Of these, 3,338 had been approved and 404 had been refused. The remainder were still under inquiry, in most cases awaiting further information from the applicants concerned.
