§ 25. Sir David Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Energy how much is to be contributed by the Government during the coming financial year towards research and development into harnessing of solar energy.
§ Mr. EadieThe total Government spend over the next four years will be about £6 million. Expenditure is expected to reach about £1 million in the next financial year and exceed £1.5 million in each of the subsequent three years.
