§ Mr. Kenneth Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether his Department will now assume responsibility for the construction of the proposed Gamston-Lings Bar link road in Nottinghamshire, following the proposal to designate the A52 between Nottingham and Grantham as a trunk road; and whether he will make a statement on the progress that has been made so far towards the construction of that road.
§ Mr. HoramI refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 22nd February.—[Vol. 926, c. 516.] This proposed scheme, which is, I understand, at a very early stage of preparation, will be considered along with other possible improvements once the A52 becomes a trunk road.
