HC Deb 25 March 1977 vol 928 c707W
Mr. Hugh Jenkins

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what action he proposes to take in view of the fact that the report of the Noise Advisory Council, due to be published about Easter, includes the statement that on the basis of the Civil Aviation Authority's noise monitoring programme at Heathrow Concorde is considerably noisier than any other commercial airliner;

(2) what action he proposes to take in the light of the criticism of the Government for having exempted Concorde from Heathrow noise regulations, which is contained in the report of the Noise Advisory Council due to be published at Easter.

Mr. Shore

I have no intention of commenting on this, or any other report, before it is published.
