Mr. Woodall

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give for 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1975 and 1976 overall average male manual gross weekly earnings, namely the figure for male manual employees as shown in the October earnings survey, the corresponding amount a married man with two children under 11 years of age would have paid in income tax and national insurance contributions and net income after tax and national insurance contributions including family allowance.
