§ Mr. Robert C. BrownExcluding the women's services, there are in the Regular Army about 99,000 in the six main combat arms of armour, artillery, engineers, signals, infantry and air corps. The balance of some 65,000 are in the remaining arms and services though many of these would serve in the battle area in war.
