§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if he will publish figures for 1958 and 1976, or the latest date for which information is available, for a married man with two children earning the national average earnings in each of the nine EEC countries showing the length of time, after taking account of income tax and national insurance contributions, necessary to pay for each of the following items: one kilogramme of beef sirloin, one kilogramme of butter, one litre of milk, one litre of beer and one litre bottle of whisky.
