§ Mr. Robert C. BrownThe TAVR medium regiments RA are equipped with the 5.5 in. gun which has been in service with the Army since 1942. A replacement is currently under consideration.
The light air defence regiments of the TAVR are equipped with the Bofors L 40/70 gun, which first entered service with the British Army in 1955 and which are on average 20 years old. They are to be replaced, starting later this year, by the Blowpipe missile system.

§ Mr. Robert C. BrownThe two reconnaissance regiments of the TAVR are equipped with Saladin and Ferret. On average the Saladins are 13 years old, and the Ferrets 16 years. Both regiments are in the process of being re-equipped with Fox.
