§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he is seeking firm cost estimates for a full-scale feasibility study for a Severn Estuary tidal power scheme; what procedures are involved; what terms of reference are being requested; and when he expects to have these cost estimates and for what purpose.
§ Mr. EadieI would refer the hon. Member to my answer of 14th March. When the results of the current studies have been analysed and views sought from interested parties, our Advisory Council on Research and Development will be making recommendations to us on how we should proceed.
