Mr. Adley

asked the Prime Minister (1) if, when there is a change of Government, it is the general practice for the incoming Government to honour legal commitments and obligations inherited from the outgoing Administration;

(2) if there are any official commitments entered into by his predecessor as Prime Minister which he has decided not to keep; and if he will list any such commitments giving his reasons for this decision.
