§ Mr. MarksThe cost of the Government Car Service in the United Kingdom for the 12-month period ending 31st December was £2.85 million for an average of 353 cars. Statistics showing separate mileages for journeys with and without passengers are not avaialble. The average mileage of London based cars was 12,000. For the regions it was 11,000.
