§ Mr. HoramI refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave the hon. Member for Cardiff, north (Mr. Grist) on 11th March.—[Vol. 927, c.710.]—Even at a reduced standard of service, the bridge still offers considerable advantage to users compared with alternative routes.
§ Mr. Copeasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether the designers, taxpayers or users will pay for the work now required to remedy design errors in the Severn Bridge.
§ Mr. HoramThe cost will be met out of toll revenue in accordance with Section 4 of and Schedule 2 to the Severn Bridge Tolls Act 1965.
