§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on the processing of nuclear waste in the light of the decision taken in Washington that Energy Research and Development Agency has been acting unconstitutionally in its negotiations with Great Britain.
§ Mr. BennI understand that the National Resources Defence Council (NRDC) and other bodies jointly have filed with ERDA a rule-making petition asking that the recently-granted approvals of spent fuel transfer—which will enable United States-origin fuel to be reprocessed outside the United States—be rescinded. I am advised that this matter issub judice in the United States.
