§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will give for the longest and most convenient stated period of time the number of Metropolitan Police who have been advised, encouraged, or allowed to retire on pension prior to or at the time of their being prosecuted for stated offences; how many of these were subsequently found guilty of these offences; and how many of them are receiving pensions whilst in prison.
