§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Transport why the use of the Ouse Bridge section of the M62 motorway is being restricted to two lanes in each direction; and how long he expects this restriction to continue.
§ Mr. HoramThe use of the bridge is being restricted to two lanes to enable the contractor to complete the painting which had not been done when the bridge was opened. This will continue throughout this summer and possibly part of next year. Full carriageway facilities will be restored during the winter.
