§ Mr. Ridleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many people are currently employed in full-time equivalents, in administering the new 714 certificate scheme for sub-contractors in the building industry.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 14th March 1977; Vol. 928, c. 102], gave the following information:
This depends partly on the rate at which applications are received, but it is estimated that at present less than 250 are employed on the new scheme.
