§ Mr. Joplingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many of the 40 Russian vessels to be allowed in the EEC's 200-mile exclusive economic zone will be research vessels, in view of the fact that 23 large Russian research vessels will be operating in the Norwegian fisheries zone.
§ Mr. JuddLicences have been issued to 42 Soviet fishing vessels to fish until 31st March in the combined fishery limits of the EEC countries. These arrangements do not cover research vessels.
