§ Mr. Maurice Macmillanasked the Sectary of State for Defence (1) whether HMS "Ark Royal" will be kept in service until HMS "Illustrious" is operational and equipped with vertical takeoff and landing jets;
(2) whether HMS "Ark Royal" will be kept in service until HMS "Invincible" is operational and equipped with "ertical take-off and landing jets.
§ Mr. DuffyWe do not plan to keep "Ark Royal" in service until the first ASW cruiser has been accepted.
