§ Dr. GilbertMy right hon. Friend the Leader of the House made clear, in reply to the hon. Member for Gillingham (Mr. Burden) on the same day, that Ministers have taken no decision on this matter—[Vol. 927, c. 1640.]—Discussions are taking place between this Department, the Civil Service Department and the Department of Health and Social Security, and a statement will be made to the House as soon as possible.
