§ Mr. Dodsworthasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the effect of the new child benefit scheme on parents with children in higher education who are in receipt of a minimum grant award of £50 per annum.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon, pursuant to his reply, [Official Report, 14th March 1977], gave the following information:
This is under consideration as part of the current review of student grants for 1977–78, and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science hopes to make an announcement shortly.
