§ Mr. Clemitsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he proposes to offer a grant-in-aid to the British Youth Council for 1977–78.
§ Mr. LuardHer Majesty's Government propose to offer a grant-in-aid to the British Youth Council for 1977–78 of up to £15,000, mainly towards the Council's administrative expenditure and towards membership dues to the Council of European National Youth Committees. Parliamentary approval will be sought in a Supplementary Estimate in due course. In the meantime an advance will, if necessary, be sought from the Contingencies Fund.
