§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if, in the light of the recommendation in the 1977 "Good Food Guide" that there should be a State run restaurant, he will give a commitment not to implement such a suggestion.
§ Mr. BishopThe "Good Food Guide" in fact suggested the establishment of a British Food Centre, which would not necessarily entail State participation. We have no proposals at present to pursue such a suggestion.
