Mr. Moonman

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many receptions and talks have been given during the last six months by the Admiralty Board similar to that planned for Essex, details of which have been sent to him and how many are planned for 1977.

Mr. Duffy

44. In addition, the Royal Navy Presentation Team has, on behalf of the Admiralty Board, spoken on 116 occasions at the invitation of companies, educational institutions, professional and social clubs and defence establishments. During the remainder of March, a further seven public presentations are planned, together with 17 presentations to other audiences. After the end of March there will be no presentations until the team embarks on a further programme in the autumn. The details of this have not yet been settled.
