asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to announce his decision about the Avon County application for a gipsy site at the old Filton bypass.

Avon County Council has today been directed to proceed with its proposals to provide a gipsy caravan site at old Filton bypass. I have sent the hon. Member a copy of the decision letter.
