HC Deb 10 March 1977 vol 927 c634W
Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what controls apply to proposals by mobile home site operators for increases in pitch fees.

Mr. Armstrong

Pitch fees are a matter for negotiation between resident and site owner. But where a resident has entered into an agreement under the Mobile Homes Act 1975 the rent may be increased only once a year; any dispute about the amount of the increase may be determined in the county court. Where there is a separate charge for services, this charge is subject to normal Price Code rules.
